In this game, Capcom did a great job in portraying her as a member of an elite police squad, which was obvious in her more confident attitude in dealing with the Raccoon City outbreak , her reluctance to team up with the U.B.C.S., and the way she singlehandedly defeated Nemesis. In succeeding games, Capcom remained consistent with its portrayal of Jill, and many players knew her as a reliable partner to her comrades, but a nightmare to her enem


Another enemy from the original Resident Evil 2, which was left out of its remake, was the Giant Spider. In the case of Resident Evil 2 , these were not actually experiments created by Umbrella, but the natural result of spiders that had been accidentally infected by the T-Virus when Dr. Birkin caused its release into the underground sewers. They could be found in the sewers below Raccoon City during the break


In the trailer, it appears that Jill is running around inside her apartment building attempting to escape from the Nemesis as it stalks her. This provides more key insight into Resident Evil 3 's storyline elements which were left out of the original, which skips the moments that transpire between Jill's preparations to leave her home and the moment that skips ahead to her jumping out the front door of the building. We can assume that this part of Resident Evil 3 's new trailer provides us direct insight into what happened inside Jill's apartment in those few crucial and breathtaking mome


Of course, some may argue that Carlos and Mikhail are mere mercenaries of Umbrella and are not responsible for the Raccoon City outbreak. While that argument is valid, it is worth pointing out that in today's Jill Valentine-centered trailer , it was revealed that Jill herself realized this later in the game, and even started to apologize to Carlos. The trailer also showed how Jill and Carlos's relationship improved, and how they started to rely on each other to survive the outbreak. This goes to show that after realizing that Carlos was not deeply involved with Umbrella, Jill started treating him like a partner, showing that her sarcastic remarks earlier in the Adventure game Cheats were not made for the sake of appearing mean-spiri


Another creature that made its debut in Resident Evil 2 is the giant moth. This monster is a bio-organic weapon that was developed by Umbrella, and its research was conducted in the NEST Underground facility . During the Raccoon City Outbreak, the Giant Moth escaped the Umbrella facility and used the air conditioning system's main shaft to hunt down prey all over the facility. The Giant Moth also made an appearance in Resident Evil Outbreak and Resident Evil Surviv


Furthermore, when Jill jumps outside of her apartment in the trailer, one can quickly observe the Liquor Store in the background. In the original Resident Evil games, the liquor store was never in Resident Evil 3 , but only in the second game and in Operation Raccoon City . This could also entail a more expansive map of Raccoon City to explore in its entirety, or close to. Then again, it could be a different liquor store entirely, despite the store's title having similarly red lights for its letter


Seeing a modern retake of Code Veronica and its unique settings and deep storytelling would certainly be a welcome addition to Capcom's Resident Evil Remakes. Capcom may already be testing the waters, considering Code Veronica was ported to the P
