Wear shoes designated for every-day use as they adjust to your feet and lessen pressure applied to your foot.
Apply a moisturizing lotion to the top and bottom of your feet every day to help maintain the skin pliable.
Do not chop or shred hard skin, it may cause bleeding that is not only painful but also increases the risk of infection.
Take pain reliever medicine if there is discomfort.
Clean your foot with warm water and change the bandage twice a day to prevent infection.
See your doctor as recommended to maintain foot health.
Wash your feet every day, dry them properly, and put a moisturizing cream on. Or remove any hard skin with a pumice stone.
Trim toenails and excess skin to prevent rubbing or irritation.
Wear comfortable, well-fitting shoes with soft soles and low heels.
