Speedway club managers have vowed to discover a new venue after news they can not remain at their home of 96 years.


Wolverhampton Speedway said on 17 April they were ravaged their tenancy arrangement for Monmore Green would not be extended beyond this season.

But Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said the "fantastic" support had actually caused talks with authorities about a brand-new site.

He said he had actually managed to bring an arena to Redcar and had acquired understanding from that task.
